  • Argosy Cruises provides tourists with a new take on city sightseeing, from the water! We provide 1- and 2-hour tours around the bay as well as longer charters for private parties. It can be very hard to find places/sites to recruit from. Sites that are specific to maritime industry and hospitality. We are willing to train employees so no experience necessary.

  • We would love to figure out a way to get hospitality and maritime jobs posted in one place or find a way to make it easier to find candidates who want jobs in maritime.  

  • Maybe reverse of job postings but candidates can post, and we can look through them. Something like that.

  • The Seattle Seahawks/ First and Goal, Inc. are responsible for the operations and staffing of Lumen Field for a variety of public and private events, as well as home to MLS Sounders FC, NWSL OL Reign and the NFL.

  • We would like to work on developing an innovative labor forecasting, staffing and development system is a need for our operations.  We have existing relationships with established software providers.  However, we are always open to considering new opportunities.

  • We are open to suggestions and solutions.

  • Ideal timeline would be prior to the fall 2022.  However, we can extend into early 2023.

  • In addition to labor forecasting, staffing and development, we would like to find a post event reporting system that we can utilize to populate our post event reports.

  • We currently utilize ABI for much of our time keeping, scheduling and deployments.   We are converting to another system by July 2022.

  • The Alaska Native Heritage Center has a history of providing cultural awareness workshops for key businesses and entities that engage in economic activities around Alaska. Our core customers have been in the fields of environmental remediation, resource development/extraction, and healthcare.

  • Our team wants to digitize these workshops and make them more user friendly for the digital space. We also want to execute updates to our materials to better suit the particular needs of the industries that we serve so that there is some bespoke materials that work best for their needs.  

Pilot Requirements

  • The ideal solution to the challenge above would be a digital platform that offers people a variety of courses that allow them to build proficiencies that facilitate good working relationships with Indigenous communities in Alaska. The offerings would ideally have three categories:

    • (1) self-guided training, (2) live guided training, ie zoom classes, and (3) in person trainings.

  • We’d love for it there to be specified curriculum that serves educators, environmental techs, resource extraction companies, and governmental employees.
